This course is designed for those interested in learning how to practice yoga postures safely, and to trust their bodies to show the way. We will also study breathing and meditation techniques to let the body and mind find more calm and connection, with a gradual approach.
The course is limited to maximum six participants to ensure personalized attention.
WHO IS THIS FOR? If you are a complete beginner of yoga, you will benefit greatly. And if you have a yoga practice but would like to revisit some poses in more detail and learn about the breath and meditation, this course is for you too.
WHAT SHALL I EXPECT? 🧘 Each class takes 90 minutes, combining theory and practice.
🙏 Classes take place on Tuesdays between 17:30 and 19:00 CET, from 6 to 27 October.
🧘 Did you know that simply by lengthening your exhale, you may calm your nervous system down? We will investigate the breath and learn various pranayama (breathwork) techniques.
🙏 You will learn different warm ups, sun salutations and foundational yoga postures.
🧘 You will practice deep relaxation and various techniques of mindfulness meditation.
🙏 Incorporated into the classes, you will also learn key concepts of yoga theory.

About the instructor: Eszter Farkas teaches soulful vinyasa yoga classes with a focus on creating space in the body and the mind. She has been practicing yoga for 15 and teaching for six years. Eszter is also a certified AcroYoga instructor and practices Thai yoga massage.
