I love nature, sun, and of course, yoga. And I also like social work, volunteering, and helping out. Why not combine all these? I organized a donation-based openair yoga class in the hills of Buda, here are a few snaps for you.
While the morning started off gloomy, as the day progressed, the sun came out and it ended up being bright and hot. After the warm-up, we did a bunch of sun salutations and dynamic asanas and of course set a few minutes aside for savasana (corpse pose) and deep relaxation. The trendy ones donned sunglasses and the others wore our sweat with grace.
A handful of yogi(ni)s stayed for a picnic as well — and how lucky we are to snack in the Garden of Philosophy with a killer view of Budapest!
The donation went to Food not Bombs Budapest, a grassroots organization that distributes vegetarian food to some 150 people in need, every weekend. Again, thank you all for coming, and be sure to join us next time!
