This spring during our meditation and yoga workshops, let’s explore the four different “qualities of love” or the “divine abodes” of loving kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity. We will delve into these topics with the help of movement, journaling and guided meditation. Called the brahmaviharas, these qualities and associated meditation techniques are also known as the “four immeasurables” as they represent goodwill toward all sentient beings.

The spring meditation and yoga workshops take place online and in downtown Budapest at Király utca 14. in hybrid form. The planned dates are:

  • 10 June
  • 8 July

During each workshop, we will practice movement techniques and yoga asanas that energize us and move gradually towards softness and stillness. In addition, various breathing techniques will support us also to settle in and ready our minds for mindfulness meditation. After the session, I hope that you can stay for a friendly chat and snack.

“Daily life is practice. Because life in the world is as complex as it is, it is the optimal setting for developing the capacity of equanimity and the habit of benevolence. The techniques that we learn in classes and retreats are techniques for living life.” – Sylvia Boorstein, meditation teacher and psychologist

The spring meditation and yoga workshops will focus on the aspects of loving kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity with the help of movement. I will also offer some insight into the concepts, a question and response session and guide participants in formal meditation. You’re encouraged to take a journal with you to note down any insight that may arise for you during our sessions.

Each workshop costs 12.000HUF or 30EUR. After registration, you will receive an email with payment information. Your spot is secured after completion of payment.

If you are a student, a single mother or are facing financial difficulties for other reasons, I will be happy to give you a 15% discount. You’ll be able to indicate your request in the sign-up sheet.
